MULTI-HOMING SERVICE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS IN MOBILE IP SYSTEM

A multi-homing service control method and apparatus are provided to solve the problem in the prior art that the network side entity is not capable of controlling multi-homing service. The method includes: the network side entity for processing multi-homing service receives the multi-homing capability related information of mobile terminal transmitted from the network side multi-homing storing entity, then controls and manages the multi-homing service of mobile terminal according to the multi-homing capability related information. The network side entity becomes capable of controlling multi-homing service by the way that the network side entity for processing multi-homing service receives the multi-homing capability related information of mobile terminal transmitted from the network side multi-homing storing entity.
