PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor device for a vehicle more expanding shading area by a sun visor body without interrupting an inside rear view mirror from visibility of a driver. SOLUTION: This sun visor device is provided with: a sun visor body 12; a guide rail for supporting the sun visor body 12 to be movable in the vehicle longitudinal direction between a first position which is supported by a roof panel 11 and having the sun visor body 12 arranged in a storing part on a lower side of the roof panel 11 and a second position in which a rear end of the sun visor body 12 is projected to a front side of the inside rear view mirror 15 mounted on windshield 14; and a retractor 51 for delivering shading cloth 52 between the sun visor body 12 and the storing part according to moving of the sun visor body 12.
