<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer system which can correct the differences of packet formats. <P>SOLUTION: When transmitting data from an IEEE1394 apparatus connected to an IEEE1394 cable 6 to a USB apparatus 7 connected to a USB cable 8, a packet of the IEEE1394-type transferred from an IEEE1394 apparatus 5 and identification information for identifying the USB apparatus defined by each USB apparatus 7 are inserted into the packet of the USB and transferred to the USB. By this means, the differences between the packet formats can be corrected, and DTCP, an illegal copy preventing technology of the IEEE1394, can be applied to the USB. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
