The invention relates to food composition comprising the following extracts: 40-50% soy, 30-40% rice, no more than 20% sesame and at most 2% Indian fig (prickly pear), which is intended for obese and overweight individuals in order to lower blood cholesterol, triglyceride and glucose levels, in the form of a food supplement or sole diet. The composition can also include additional sources of carbohydrates and fats, flavouring agents, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements and other traditional additives. Said composition can be in powder form, in liquid state suspended in water or fruit juice or in solid state in the form of bars, biscuits, pies or bread rolls and is in all cases easily absorbed by the body. |
