<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery having an electrode extraction shape suitable for manufacturing of a laminated body and a battery pack using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The lamination type lithium ion secondary battery includes a negative electrode 2 composed of a negative electrode active material capable of insertion and desorption of lithium ions, a positive electrode 3 composed of a positive electrode active material capable of insertion and desorption of lithium ions, and a separator 4 arranged between the negative electrode and the positive electrode so as to insulate these electrodes laminated, and an electrolytic liquid impregnated. The negative electrode 2 and the positive electrode 3 are made of an electrode active material coated portion of a nearly rectangular shape and non-coated portions 6, 7 of the electrode active material of nearly triangular shape on a current collector, and the non-coated portions 6, 7 of the electrode active material in the negative electrode 2 and the positive electrode 3 are composed of a mutually overlapping portion 8 and a mutually non-overlapping portion. The separator 4 is interposed between the negative electrode 2 and the positive electrode 3 so as to cover both of the electrode active material coated portions of the negative electrode 2 and the positive electrode 3, is also interposed between the overlapping portions 8 of the electrode active material non-coated portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
