<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe high-frequency knife for endoscopic mucosal resection and its manufacturing method for dissecting body tissues of a narrow width sharply with a small injury to the body tissues by forming a metal exposed part of an extra narrow width easily and accurately with no risks of dropping of an electric insulating material. <P>SOLUTION: In the high-frequency knife for endoscopic mucosal resection which is equipped with a bar-shaped distal end electrode 2 composed of a conductive metal at the distal end of an electric insulating sheath 1 and is configured to cauterize the body tissues in contact with the metal exposed part 6 of the distal end electrode 2 by applying a high-frequency current to the distal end electrode 2, the entire surface of the distal end electrode 2 is coated with an electric insulating coating 5, and the metal exposed part 6 is formed by removing a part of the electric insulating coating 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
