<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, when a linear polarized antenna is applied to an RFID reader device for improving communication gain with an RF tag, matching to the polarization direction of the antenna of the RF tag can not be achieved depending on the arrangement or attitude of the RFID reader device, the communication distance is lowered and communication is disabled; and, when a complicated mechanism or an electrical adjustment means is applied for matching of the antenna polarization direction, the size of the device is increased, or power consumption is increased, thereby it is particularly difficult to apply it to a battery-driven handy reader, and usable time may be lowered. <P>SOLUTION: A first antenna rotating member 31 is arranged at a position of this RFID reader device 11 without including the gravity center 1 of a first dielectric board 41, and rotatably mounted to a body of the RFID reader device 11, whereby the first dielectric board 41 rotates by its own weight, and always keeps a constant angle with respect to the direction of gravitational force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
