<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier with the function of decomposing an odor and a stain sticking to the surface without the help of an ultraviolet irradiation means. <P>SOLUTION: This dehumidifier has visible light response-type photocatalyst powder applied to at least, a part of the surface of a rotor base. The colors contained in this powder are specified such that a* is -5 or less, b* is -5 or more and L* is 50 or more when the colors of tungsten oxide photocatalyst powder are represented by the color system of L*a*b*. In addition, it is possible to decompose the odor and the stain even during nighttime by arranging a light source.
