<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wastewater treatment method which enables the speed-up of wastewater treatment by aerobic microorganism, system miniaturization, and reduction of aeration cost. <P>SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment method includes the process of introducing wastewater into a biological reaction tank containing aerobic microorganisms through a wastewater passage, the process of treating the wastewater with the microorganisms while supplying microbubbles into the biological reaction tank, and the process of pulling out the treated water from the biological reaction tank. One end of the wastewater passage communicates with the lower part of the biological reaction tank through a venturi tube. The wastewater is supplied from the other end of the wastewater passage. A pump is provided on the way of the wastewater passage.
