PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NOR-interface flash memory device and an access method concerned in order to allow random access to data by increasing a data access rate of a flash memory. SOLUTION: The NOR-interface flash memory device 100 includes: an NAND flash memory 102 for storing data; a first address of an external instruction for accessing data; a mapping table 202 for retrieving a second address corresponding to the first address among NAND flash memories; and an NOR flash memory interface 204 for receiving an external instruction to retrieve the second address from mapping table, and for randomly accessing the data stored in the NAND flash memory 102. Further, the NOR-interface flash memory device 100 includes an error correcting code unit 210 for correcting an error of the data temporarily stored in a data buffer area.
