PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact spectral apparatus for simply and easily improving a wavelength resolution. SOLUTION: The spectral apparatus 10 includes; a light emitting section 11 and a light receiving section 14 disposed on one side of a collimator lens 12; and a diffraction grating 13 disposed on the other side of the collimator lens 12. Light emitted from the light emitting section 11 enters the diffraction grating 13 through the collimator lens 12. The light diffracted by the diffraction grating 13 is received by the light receiving section 14 through the collimator lens 12. The diffraction grating 13 is disposed at a predetermined distance from the collimator lens 12 which is shorter than a focal length of the collimator lens 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
