PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening/closing device securing required opening/closing strokes, strength and rigidity and applicable to a large-sized window. SOLUTION: The window opening/closing device comprises: an operating member 10 slidably supported to a base body 8 supported to be turnable around a vertical axis by a receiving member mounted to a lower frame 3L, and extended/contracted to make a second operating rod 12 slidable relative to a first operating rod 11; a connecting member 14 mounted to the tip part of the operating member 10 and connected to a sash side fitting 6; a slide regulating means 21 engaging the operating member 10 with the base body 8 in the open state of the sash 4 and in the closed state of the sash 4 to regulate the sliding operation of the operating member 10 to the base body 8; a slide regulation release means 22 releasing the regulation; an extension/contraction regulating means 23 holding the extended state and contracted state of the operating member 10 to regulate extending/contracting operation; and an extending/contracting regulation release means 24 releasing the regulation.
