PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filled or unfilled metallocene-catalyzed polyolefin-containing wax or polymer formulation particularly suited for use in a precision casting process and hollow core production. SOLUTION: The wax formulation includes the followings: (a) a metallocene-catalyzed polyolefin having a melting point of 80-150°C, a viscosity at 140°C of 60-20,000 mPa s, and a melt flow index (MFI) of 30-3,000 g/10 min as measured under a load of 2.16 kg at a test temperature of 230°C, (b) a wax or a wax derivative having a melting point of 80-165°C and a viscosity at 140°C of 50-30,000 mPa s, and a low-density polyolefin having a melting point of 80-150°C and a melt flow index (MFI) of 30-3,000 g/10 min as measured under a load of 2.16 kg at a test temperature of 230°C.
