PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel silicone compound which can be used as an adhesiveness-imparting component, and can form an adhesive which can adhere to a hardly adhesive adherend such as gold or copper in a high adhesive strength, when the compound is blended in, for example, a primer composition and an adhesive composition. SOLUTION: The silicone compound is prepared by hydrolytically condensing components containing a compound represented by formula (1). In the formula (1), A denotes a Lewis basic functional group; X1, X2 and X3 each independently denote a hydrolyzable group; and R denotes an alkylene chain having 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
