PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pail configured to have a grippable handle and prevent slippage and dropping of the pail to solve such a problem that a pail formed of a synthetic resin is significantly slippery when a handle is wetted with water or soap, and a child, senior person, or the like with weak hands tends to drop the pail. SOLUTION: The handle held by hand is provided with a semicircular or annular hook portion for receiving a finger, so that the handle is held stably against longitudinal or transverse slippage of the pail.
