A knee airbag device (10) having a glove box door, in which a stud bolt (23) for mounting an inflator (25) is fixed to an inflator support member (17) so as to be inclined in the vertical direction relative to a general surface of a glove box door inner section (13). This reduces the thickness W0 of an inflator mounting section (18d) to which an airbag module (16) is mounted. The inflator support member (17) has a first portion (18) and a second portion. A hook (21a) is formed at the first portion (18), and this reduces the number of parts. The inflator (25) is placed at the lower part in a receiving space (14) to allow the glove box door to be opening and closed with a smaller force. The first portion (18) is the bottom wall of an airbag case and the second portion (19) is a side wall of the airbag case, and this reduces the number of parts.
