<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slipping with a roll while securing quality when an electrolyte membrane is conveyed by the roll. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane 1 conveyed through a guide roll 6 has a surface roughness set at maximum in accordance with required specifications on conveying. Concretely, concavo-convex height and shape of a surface of the electrolyte film 1 are set optimally in accordance with surface roughness of the roll and a conveying velocity of the electrolyte film. At this point, in case a surface roughness of the guide roll 6 is set constant, the concavo-convex height of the surface is to be higher as the conveying velocity of the electrolyte membrane 1 is increased. The concavo-convex height of the surface of the electrolyte membrane 1 is set in a range from 0.05 to 5 μm in its surface roughness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
