<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for increasing the operational efficiency of transactions that require explanations for risk commodities. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic transaction system includes an ATM 1 for automatically performing transactions for risk commodities; a commodity explanation management server 7 for managing commodity explanation history information about commodity explanations for risk commodities; and a window terminal 2 installed at a window. The ATM 1 has a means for sending to the commodity explanation management server 7 ATM commodity explanation information including interruption information with the screen number of an explanation screen for risk commodities, if a transaction is interrupted while the explanation screen is displayed. The commodity explanation management server 7 has a means for storing the AMT commodity explanation information sent from the ATM 1 in the commodity explanation history information and a means for transmitting the ATM commodity explanation information to the window terminal 2 upon a transmission request from the window terminal 2.
