PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a hot water storage tank preventing careless discharge of hot water when tilting even in any angle. SOLUTION: In the hot water storage tank 30 directly connected to a tapping pipe of a water boiling mechanism to store hot water, one open 41 end is provided in a predetermined position of an upper part in the hot water storage tank 30, and a breather pipe 40 is provided which goes around an intermediate part 43 inside and outside of the tank 30 above a substantial plane of the upper part of the hot water storage tank 30 including the one open end, is vertically arranged downward toward a bottom face 33 of the hot water storage tank 30, and exposes the other open end 42 to an exterior from the bottom face of the hot water storage tank 30.
