<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar high-frequency treatment instrument for an endoscope which is capable of improving insertability into a treatment instrument insertion channel of the endoscope by forming a flexible sheath only of a multi-lumen tube into a thin outer diameter, and capable of securely and easily controlling the direction of opening/closing of a pair of electrodes at the distal end from hand side. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-lumen tube only is used as the flexible sheath 1, and a torque wire having a high rotation transmissibility is used for one of a pair of conductive lines 6 and 7 while a non-torque wire of low rotation transmissibility is used for the other conductive line. As the conductive line 6 formed of the torque wire is rotationally operated from the proximal end side for the multi-lumen tube 1, an electrode support body 2 is rotated relative to the multi-lumen tube 1 in the axial direction so that the direction of opening/closing of the pair of electrodes 3 and 4 can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
