摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use light, to achieve energy saving and to increase illuminating light quantity for an object to be read by improving a ratio of light incident on a light transmission body to all the luminous fluxes emitted by a light emitting element, that is, incidence efficiency. SOLUTION: A first incident surface 13 that is one surface of an incident surface 15 of the light transmission body 11 is constituted in projecting shape (pyramid shape or cone shape) so that the top of a projecting part 13a turns to a center part of light emission of an LED 16 above the light emitting surface 16a of the LED 16. A second incident surface 14 that is the other surface of the incident surface 15 is constituted so that: its upper part is continuously coupled to the first incident surface 13 through a joining part 17; its lower part has a surface 18 coming into contact with the upper surface of a substrate 20 on which the LED 16 is mounted; and the entire second incident surface 14 is in projecting shape toward the LED 16.
