PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To urgently slip a finger off even when a mechanism for adjusting the internal diameter of a ring-shaped device has a breakdown. SOLUTION: The ring-shaped device 1 is constituted by rotatably attaching one end 25b of a separated housing body 25 to the hinge connection part 29 of a ring-shaped housing 20, and engaging the distal end 25a of the separated housing body 25 with the end part 28a of the annular formation part 28 of the ring-shaped housing 20. Thus, even in a case when a slider 5 cannot be drawn back due to a fault in the driving mechanism of the slider 5, etc., in a state where the finger put through the cavity part of the ring-shaped device 1 is pressurized by the slider 5, the distal end 25a of the separated housing body 25 is disengaged so as to open the separated housing body 25.
