<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous resin having portions different in average cell diameter. <P>SOLUTION: After a raw material D<SB>1</SB>prepared at a low temperature is injected into a cavity 4 of a mold 1, a liquid raw material D<SB>2</SB>prepared at a higher temperature is injected until the cavity is full. The liquid raw materials D<SB>1</SB>, D<SB>2</SB>are polymer dopes containing thermoplastic polyurethane resins, water-soluble polymer compounds and oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvents containing oxygen atoms or nitrogen atoms in the molecules. By bringing the polymer dopes into contact with an extract liquid comprising hydrophilic organic catalyst, the oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvents in the liquid raw materials D<SB>1</SB>, D<SB>2</SB>are extracted by liquid-liquid extraction to solidify the liquid raw materials D<SB>1</SB>, D<SB>2</SB>. After the liquid raw materials D<SB>1</SB>, D<SB>2</SB>are solidified, the solidified material is released from the mold, brought into contact with water to extract the water-soluble polymer compounds, the hydrophilic organic catalyst and residual oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvents to obtain a cylindrical porous resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
