<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein giving specific damages to specific cells such as human cancer cells in active forms, and to provide a DNA encoding the protein, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having a specific sequence, or a protein which comprises an amino acid sequence modified by one or more of the deletion, replacement, insertion and addition of one or more amino acids in a range having ≥70% of homology to either of the amino acid sequences, and has cytotoxic activity in an active form. Also provided is a DNA comprising a nucleotide sequence having a specific sequence, or a DNA which hybridizes with a DNA comprising a nucleotide sequence complementary to the DNA in a stringent condition, and encodes a protein having a cytotoxic activity in an active form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
