PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information processing system for transmitting information to a desired portable information processor.

SOLUTION: The portable information processor (IC card) includes a storage means (communication control MCU 18) for storing ID information as information unique to each device; a transmission means (RF circuit 19) for transmitting the stored ID information depending on an inquiry; a reception means (RF circuit 19) for receiving display information from a host device; and a display means (EPD 11a) for displaying the received display information. The host device includes an inquiry means (central control part 52) for making an inquiry about the ID information to each portable information processor; a storage means (database 53) for storing the acquired ID information; a specification means (central control part 52) for specifying the communication object based on the ID information; and a supply means (communication control part 54) for selectively supplying display information to the specified portable information processor.
