PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which enables installation of both a storage room and an outdoor section in a building body, and which can secure a living space widely. SOLUTION: This building 1 is characterized as follows: an intermediate floor 4 is provided on a part of a floor 3 on a specific story 2; a space between the intermediate floor 4 and the floor 3 on the specific story 2 serves as the storage room 5; a section above the intermediate floor 4 serves as the outdoor section 6 which is exposed outdoors; and at least two of walls 5a surrounding the storage room 5 face a room 7 which is installed on the floor 3 on the specific story 2, and have a doorway 5b which communicates with the room 7. Thus, since the storage room and the outdoor section can be arranged in such a manner as to vertically adjoin each other, the storage room and the outdoor section can be concurrently installed in the building body, and both spaces for the storage room and the outdoor section do not have to be separately secured.
