PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase adhesion strength of an end-sealing material in a liquid crystal panel 1 provided with a notch for storing the end-sealing material so as not to protrude to an external part even when a sufficient amount of the end-sealing material is put in an injection port. SOLUTION: A first notch 3e as a liquid crystal injection port 5 is formed in one substrate 3 of a pair of substrates 2 and 3, a second notch 2f smaller than the first notch 3e as the liquid crystal injection port 5 is formed in the other substrate 2 and the end-sealing material 6 applied onto an exposed surface 2h of the other substrate 2 exposed from the first notch 3e and onto a cut surface 2i of the second notch 2f.
