PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for assisting deglutition, making the ingestion of a medicine difficult for deglutition or a non-pleasant tasting or smelling medicine easy, a hollow film-spliced material for assisting the deglutition and a method for continuously producing the same. SOLUTION: The single-layered or multiple-layered films 1a to 1d for assisting the deglutition at least containing a water swellable gel-forming layer containing an anionic polymeric material, the hollow film-spliced materials 4a, 4b for assisting the deglutition, obtained by partially splicing the film for assisting the deglutition and the method for continuously producing such the hollow film-spliced materials for assisting the deglutition are provided.
