PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive signature feeder by reducing the number of constitution means and reducing an occupied space. SOLUTION: The signature feeder includes: a feeding base 1 capable of placing a bundle of signature while turning the fold down; a support plate 2 for supporting the signature on the feeding base 1 in such a state that it stands while turning the fold down; and rotatable suction rotors 3, 16 having an air suction hole 9 for sucking the paper at a side contacted with the support plate of the signature forwardly projected from the support plate 2 at a front side in a signature draw-out direction of the support plate 2 and pulling an upper part of the paper to the opening side while drawing out the signature from the feeding base 1. There is also provided a conveying roller 4 for feeding out the signature drawn out by the suction rotor 3, 16 and having the upper part in the opened state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
