PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier which enables an increase in productivity with reduction of the number of components, facilitates replacing a chlorine-removal filter after being used for a certain period of time, making the replacement workability excellent, enables a first-aid measure for providing an amount of water needed for end-use water supply equipment even when clogging in the dechlorination filter reduces the amount of water flow, and can suppress the dynamic water pressure on the clogged dechlorination filter to prevent the filter from being deformed or broken. SOLUTION: The water purifier includes: a casing 2; a dechlorination filter 14 which has a hollow part 15 and is disposed in the casing 2; a head cap 6 set on the end of the casing 2; a cylinder 18 having one end fixed to the head cap 6 and the other end inserted into one end of the hollow part 15 of the dechlorination filter 14; a cylinder water passage 19 opening on the side of the cylinder 18 and forming a bypass passage 19a; and a valve element 24 disposed inside or outside the cylinder 18 for opening and closing the bypass passage 19a.
