PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor tooth forming burr capable of easily forming an anchor tooth having a crown margin with a desired width without wobbling of a grinding part and without leaving a loose enamel part or undercut part when the anchor tooth is formed, without injuring the gum, and without requiring special skills. SOLUTION: The anchor tooth forming burr 11 comprises a shank part 12 to be attached to a handpiece 51 and the grinding part 13 on the distal end side in the axial direction from the shank part 12 for grinding teeth. A guide projection 14 projecting in such a way as can be inserted into the gum groove E for guiding the grinding part 13 is formed in the distal end on the center axis X of the grinding part 13, and the surface of the guide projection 14 is formed smoother than the outer surface of the grinding part 13.
