PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a production cost without reducing the performance as a seedling transplanter, by reducing the number of used hydraulic devices. SOLUTION: The walking type seedling transplanter is constituted by linking arms installed in each of right and left traveling transmission cases supporting wheels by the rear end parts and turning in the upper and lower direction, to both the right and left terminals of a relaying link member 18, which is moving in the front and the rear direction so as to follow the front and rear movements of a cylinder rod 17 of a hydraulic lifting and lowering cylinder 16, with a linking rod 20 penetrating at a linking part 18b. A compression spring 22 is installed in between a fixing tool 25, installed in the rear-end part of the linking rod 20 and the linking part 18b, and a control tool for controlling turning of the arm to the rear side, by resisting the compression spring 22 by contacting with the arm, is also installed.
