<p>A magnet lock is provided with a rotor, which is supported rotatably by the rotary supporting portion of a case member while having a fitting recess and a plurality of engaging recesses, and a rodlike permanent magnet, which is urged repulsively toward the side engaging with the engaging recess selected from the engaging recesses and fitted slidably in the sliding recess selected from the sliding recesses. The permanent magnet is driven to a disengaging position as a magnet key is fitted in the fitting recess for positioning. A plurality of sets of a case member (19) and a rotor (26) where the fitting recesses (27) have an identical shape, and the sliding recess (37) corresponds to the engaging recess (40) are set such that at least one of the number and arrangement of the sliding recesses (37) and the engaging recesses (40) arranged on one virtual circle having the axis of rotation of the rotor (26) as a center becomes different. Consequently, the type of the magnet keys can be increased without causing upsizing or cost increase.</p> |
