<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support apparatus supporting the walking of a patient who has difficulty to start walking. <P>SOLUTION: This walking support apparatus includes a display device 1 having an external light transmission type liquid crystal display to be worn on the head part of a patient, and a switch 2 to be operated by the patient and, when the switch 2 is turned on by the patient, the display device 1 displays an image inducing a movement to start walking. In concrete terms, an indicator showing a treading direction of the patient's foot, indicators L1, L2, L3, etc. indicating walking positions corresponding to a step, and the like are displayed on the liquid crystal display to induce the patient's movement to start walking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
