<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a despreading circuit capable of reducing its size and current dissipation. <P>SOLUTION: The despreading circuit 10 includes an FHT circuit 1 of a spreading factor 16 which outputs HS-PDCH despreading results for channelization codes CC#1-CC#15. An adder 2 is connected to an output end 1-1 corresponding to channelization code CC#0 of the FHT circuit 1. A memory 3 is connected to the adder 2. The output from the FHT circuit 1 and the output of a selector 4 connected to the memory 3 are added through a feedback line 5. The result of addition is set in the memory 3.
