APPARATUS FOR DRIVING LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for driving a light emitting element which can limit heat generation in a constant current circuit.

SOLUTION: This apparatus includes: a power part 100 supplying driving power; a light emitting element array 200 including a plurality of light emitting elements connected in series between an anode end connected to the power part 100 and a cathode end; a constant-current circuit part 300 keeping a current flowing to the light emitting element array 200 constant in accordance with a first tuning voltage; and a voltage limiting circuit part 400 connected between the cathode end of the light emitting element array 200 and the constant-current circuit part 300, and dividing a partial voltage out of a total voltage applied between the cathode end of the light emitting element array 200 and a ground according to a second tuning voltage to limit a voltage applied to the constant-current circuit part 300 below a preset voltage.
