<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body structure of a vehicle capable of sufficiently improving reaction force of a vehicle during a side collision. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle body frame 1 includes a rear side member 4 extending in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle, and a rear floor cross member 5 and a center floor cross member 6 joined with the rear side member 4 and extending in the width direction of the vehicle. A reinforcing member 7 for suppressing deformation of the rear side member 4 occurring during a side collision of the vehicle is fixed to the rear side member 4 and the rear floor cross member 5. The reinforcing member 7 is composed of a substantially flat plate-like brace joined with the rear side member 4 and the rear floor cross member 5.
