PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic cell structural member suitable for manufacturing a zero gap electrolytic cell for an ion exchange membrane process which is an ion exchange process electrolytic cell used for alkali meal halide aqueous solution electrolysis and an ion exchange membrane process alkali halide electrolytic cell. SOLUTION: The electrolytic cell structural member is formed by attaching a conductive porous body 8 on an opening 15 surface of a frame body 14 having at least one opened surface to be movable in the vertical direction to the opening 15 surface of the frame body 14 and mounting an elastic cushion material 9 in a space surrounded by the frame body 14 and the conductive porous body 8.
