<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translator selection method, a translator selection program and a translation request server for selecting a translator has a proper translation skill requested by a client. <P>SOLUTION: When accepting a new translation request from a user terminal (S2: YES) in a server configuring a translation system, user information of the client and the other users other than the client is acquired form a user database (S4, S5). The user information includes information related to the identity of the client and the other users. Both of them are compared, and request history information including evaluation for the translation result of the other users whose identity-related information is at least partially common to that of the client and the corresponding translator is extracted (S10).
