<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor suitable for generating an assist force for assisting steering, and to provide an electric power steering device. <P>SOLUTION: Six pieces of draw-out holes 53 for drawing out lead wires 64 are formed at a bracket 52 of the motor 40, and six pieces of penetration holes 82 for making penetrate therein the lead wires 64 which penetrate the draw-out holes 53, and eighteen pieces of penetration holes 83 for making penetrate therein three pieces of connecting terminals 36a of FETs 36, which are fixed to the coil-side surface 54 of the bracket 52 are formed at a bus bar 80. Then, the lead wires 64 penetrate the lead-out holes 53 and the penetration holes 82, and are electrically connected to connecting terminals 84, respectively. The connecting terminals 36a of the FETs 36 penetrate the penetration holes 83 and are electrically connected to connecting terminals 85, respectively.
