<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal extract usable widely in pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, food additives and functional foods, etc., each having hyaluronic acid production-promoting capability. <P>SOLUTION: The hyaluronic acid production-promoting agent is provided as an animal-derived extract obtained from meat, bone and/or skin of fishes, birds and/or mammals.
