<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a process cartridge keeping satisfactory positional relationship between an image carrier and a developer supply member even if the process cartridge is composed of a plurality of housings. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 10 has a body 12 of the image forming device, an opening and closing cover 39, the process cartridge 200, and a projecting part 40 provided to interfere with the process cartridge 200 when improper process cartridge 200 is mounted in the body 12 of the image forming device and the opening and closing cover 39 is closed. The process cartridge 200 has the first housing 220 in which a photosensitive member 55 is mounted and the second housing 222 in which a developing roll 92 is mounted. The projecting part 40 presses the second housing 222 in the direction for bringing the photosensitive member 55 and the developing roll 92 close to each other when the improper process cartridge 200 is mounted and the opening and closing cover 39 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
