METHOD FOR PRODUCING FUNCTIONAL CERAMIC AND FUNCTIONAL CERAMIC PRODUCED BY THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing a film or a bulk body of a ceramic-based electrical/electronic material having more improved performance in a sufficiently fast speed by doping a third element in such a large amount that can not be doped in an equilibrium state.

SOLUTION: The film or the bulk body of the functional ceramic material, in which a third element is doped in such a large amount that cannot be doped by a conventional technology because of the deposition of a second phase, can be formed at a sufficiently high rate by a method comprising forcedly dissolving the third element to form a solid solution by rapid cooling and solidification using a thermal spray method.
