<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent using a capsinoid compound as an active ingredient, although the capsinoid compound is known to have various physiological activities, e.g. a blood flow-enhancing activity, a hypotensive activity, an anti-diabetic activity, etc., it is further effective to various diseases other than the above with a marked effectiveness. <P>SOLUTION: This therapeutic or preventing agent of rheumatism, cancerous diseases, etc., and a calcium absorption-enhancing agent containing the capsinoid compound as the active ingredient are provided.
