PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove color bleeding in an image imaged by a color imaging apparatus and to reduce a feeling of wrongness by discontinuous color bleeding reduction processing between moving image frames. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus performs color bleeding reduction processing of color moving images by using a first frame image and a second frame image obtained after the first frame image. The apparatus includes a storage part 156 for storing first color bleeding reduction quantity used for color bleeding reduction processing of the first frame image, estimation parts 151, 153 for finding out the color bleeding estimation quantity of the second frame image by performing spatial operation on the second frame image, and a determination part 157 for finding out the second color bleeding reduction quantity to be used for color bleeding reduction processing of the second frame image so that a difference between the first color bleeding reduction quantity and the color bleeding estimation quantity is within a predetermined range.
