PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus capable of acquiring blood flow distribution information in a subject along with contrast medium distribution information in the subject while retaining a real-time property and easily simultaneously comparing the information. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic imaging apparatus acquires B mode information, contrast mode image information and CFM (Color Flow Mapping) image information, where a B mode processing section 103, a contrast mode processing section 110, and a CFM processing section 109 are optimized, respectively, using a received echo train of a plurality of times of transmission pulses, and displays the CFM image and the B mode image on a display section 106 along with the image of the contrast medium, so that an operator precisely acquires the position of the contrast medium by the comparison with the B mode image information while retaining the real-time property and estimate the subsequent movement of the contrast medium by the comparison with the CFM image information.
