PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical DVI cable in which laser beams do not leak outside even if a relay connector is inadvertently removed while power is being supplied. SOLUTION: Power supply to a laser light-emitting element unit 113 in a transmission side interface 15 is carried out through a first metal wire 132 capable of power feeding from an input device and a second metal wire 133 in which the first metal wire 132 is folded back from a receiving side interface 12. Thereby, even if a relay connector 14 which is interposed between cables 13 to connect the transmission side interface 15 and the receiving side interface 12 is inadvertently removed, leakage of laser beams to the outside can be prevented.
