PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration of a light transmission plate type keyboard with backlight, in which the light transmission plate does not contend its circuit board with respect to an installation space. SOLUTION: The keyboard with backlight for enabling display on a keytop to be visually recognized clearly even in a dark state by illuminating a plurality of light transmittable keys from the back includes; a light emitting device as a light emitting source of illumination on a rear face side of the plurality of keys; and a circuit board in which a plurality of key switches respectively operated by the plurality of keys are arranged and which functions as a light transmitting means and is arranged so as to guide light emission of the light emitting device to respective backs of the plurality of keys so as to be able to illuminate the plurality of keys.
