BALLAST WATER REPLACEMENT PORT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the penetrating area of an upper deck by combining a manhole and a ballast water replacement port and to improve a construction process by performing construction of the ballast water replacement port doubling as the manhole on land. SOLUTION: This ballast water replacement port includes: manhole holes opened in the upper deck of a ship hull so as to longitudinally penetrating through each ballast tank and through which an operator goes in and out; manhole covers opposed to the manholes to cover the manholes ; ballast replacement ports opened in a predetermined dimension approximately in the center of the manhole covers; and ballast replacement port covers opposed to the ballast replacement ports to cover the ballast replacement ports.
