PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system for a vehicle capable of excluding a center part from a reaction transmission path to a steering wheel and non-rotating the center part. SOLUTION: The steering system 1A for the vehicle detecting the rotating operation of the steering wheel 2 and controlling a steering angle of a wheel based on a detection result includes the center part 3 arranged at the inner periphery of the steering wheel 2; a connecting shaft 4 connected in a relatively unrotatable manner to the center part 3 from the back face side to connect the center part 3 to a vehicle body in a relatively unrotatable manner; an outer cylinder 5 arranged in a relatively rotatable manner at the outer periphery of the connecting shaft 4 and connected in an integrally rotatable manner to the steering wheel 2; and a reaction motor 7 provided between the connecting shaft 4 and the outer cylinder 5.
